I'll kick this off with a"girlfriend pick". She scored big time on this one. Mika rocks.
2. If You See Light - The Mountain Goats
I must admit that I like not a single song from the rest of this album. But darn if this one isn't cool.
3. Sea Legs - The Shins
The middle song in a trio of favorites from the new disc.
4. Melatonin - Silversun Pickups
Another girlfriend pick, and a band that calls to mind the warm static of 90's alterna-rock.
5. Main Title - Shirley Walker
I don't know how many people saw BM:MOTP, but those who didn't missed one of the best intros to a Batman film yet.
6. All Is Full Of Love - Bjork
Perfectly dark and eerie.
7. Doin' Time - Sublime
Memories of 105.9 in Pittsburgh. I always thought this track was called "Summertime". It turns out the original is.
8. Baby I'm Yours - Arctic Monkeys
For all thier goofing off, these guys pulled out a flawless cover of this classic.
9. Hi - Psapp
Toytronica (?) from the folks who do the Grey's Anatomy theme.
10. My Love (Single Version) - Justin Timberlake
We end on a guilty pleasure. Added to "Cry me a river" for JT tracks I kind of dig...unless anyone asks.
